ET5-S Single Pole One snap action switch interrupts the circuit by breaking one leg only during normal operation.Single pole thermostatnever breaks both legs.

ET5-D Double Pole One snap action switch breaks one side of circuit during normal operation and breaks both sides on manual setting. Double pole thermostat cannot be used to control two separate circuits.

ET5 Two Stage or Modulating Unit contains two single pole switches activated by a common bi-metal sensing element

Switches are pre-set to operate at 2° differential. Switches do not break both of the legs of the circuit.Modulating thermostat is ideal to control two loads when a single load is too large for one thermostat.It eliminates the need for two line voltage thermostats or low voltage installation.
