TEMPERATURE CONVERSION TABLEConvert to Celsius- Convert to Fahrenheit- |
1. Find the temperature difference (), which is the difference between desired holding temperature and lowest expected ambient temperature.
2. To obtain watts per foot necessary for holding temperature, multiply temperature difference by insulation thickness factor that corresponds to pipe size used (). The values in this table include a 25% safety factor to allow for variables involved. Wattage per-foot answers obtained from use of above table are for holding temperatures only.
